NUTRITION
My love of food and my curiosity in the role it plays in our personal lives and across cultures was instrumental in choosing my career path.
In thinking about nutrition and wellness, it's important to realize that our health incorporates so much more than our physical body. I am inspired to help others create health for themselves by nurturing body, mind and spirit. Working with clients to find a more peaceful place in their relationship with food, and ultimately with themselves, is my primary interest and where I feel I am most effective.
I have spent over six years counseling patients with chronic illnesses and disordered eating at one of Seattle's leading medical centers. I have taught a number of classes including Weight Management and Diabetes and have led Support Groups for weight management. My patients have been my greatest teachers and I am humbled by the experience of working with such a myriad of individuals. I am thankful to each person I have worked with for allowing me to accompany them on their journey to a more healthful place to be.
ENERGY WORK
I have pursued energy work as a modality for my own healing and growth for over 15 years, and I have been blessed to work with tremendous mentors and teachers. I truly know the value of offering and receiving gentle guidance, acceptance and encouragement for individual growth and self-love and empowerment. My training as a Reiki Master and with the Awakening Work has inspired my desire to help people heal on the spiritual, emotional, physical and cognitive levels.
